This Canada and U.S Return Policy applies to new desktop computer systems purchased directly from Cyberix and is available to the original purchaser with a Canadian or American shipping address. This policy only applies to purchases made directly from Cyberix and shipped within Canada and the U.S.
For computer systems purchased directly from a retailer (such as BestBuy, Amazon, or Costco), the return conditions in this policy do not apply. Please refer to the return policy of the respective retailer for returns and exchanges.
Money-Back Satisfaction Guarantee
We are confident you’ll be satisfied with your purchase from Cyberix. If, for any reason, you’re not, we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on eligible products purchased directly from us.
Conditions and Exclusions for Money-Back Guarantee
The money-back guarantee is only available to the original purchaser and will be credited to the original form of payment. It does not cover:
- Products purchased from third-party retailers.
- Shipping, handling, and rush service fees.
- Opened software, additional parts/peripherals, special-order items, or custom-made products (e.g., customized cases).
- Physically damaged or modified products, including products where warranty stickers are removed or tampered with.
Refunds will not exceed the original purchase price of the product.
Restocking Fees
No restocking fee will apply within the first 30 days of purchase. Returns after 30 days are subject to a 15% restocking fee and must be approved by management. Refunds are not available after 45 days from the delivery date.
Promotional Items
If you return an item that qualified for a discount or promotional item (e.g., free shipping), the value of that discount or item will be deducted from your refund if not returned with the product.
Procedures for Obtaining Warranty Service
All returns require prior approval from Cyberix and an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. Before issuing an RMA, we will verify warranty status and eligibility. Please have the following information ready when requesting an RMA:
- Purchaser’s name and shipping address.
- Telephone number.
- Product serial number.
- Proof of purchase.
- Description of the issue.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise specified in this policy. Cyberix recommends using a reliable shipping provider with insurance to protect against damage or loss.
Types of RMA Returns
The following RMA types may be available, depending on the situation:
- Refund RMA: Issued for products eligible for a refund. All components, peripherals, and accessories must be returned with the product.
- Repair RMA: Issued for computer system repairs. Please provide a full description of the issue.
- Parts Exchange RMA: Issued to replace individual defective components or peripherals. Cyberix offers direct exchanges after receiving the defective part.
- Advance Parts Exchange RMA: Allows for advance replacement of defective parts with collateral on a valid credit card. Returned items must be received within 30 days to process a full refund.
Procedures and Additional Information for Returning RMA Products
RMA numbers are valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issuance. Packages received without an RMA number may be returned to the sender or processed as unauthorized. To avoid delays, ensure the RMA number is clearly marked on the outside of the package.

Data Backup and Protection
Prior to returning any product, please back up any data and remove all personal information. Cyberix is not responsible for any lost data or removable media that may be included with your return. For any questions, initiate the RMA process via our Contact Us page.

Please retain original packaging when possible to prevent any shipping damage. We are not responsible for any damage caused by inadequate packaging.
Currency
All prices, charges, and refunds are processed in Canadian Dollars (CAD). Refunds will be made to the original payment method in CAD.
The sender assumes full responsibility to ensure the computer or parts are packed properly to avoid any physical damage during shipping. Cyberix strongly recommends using original boxes and packaging materials, including internal foam, if available, or equivalent, well-protected packing materials. Cyberix is not responsible for damage caused by improperly packed items.
When Cyberix receives returns, either computers or parts, with physical damage, we will assess the following:
- Whether the sender used substantial packaging, such as the original materials or equivalent protective packaging.
- If the damage appeared to be caused by the shipping carrier during transit.
- Whether Cyberix provided a shipping label for the return or if the customer arranged their own shipment.
If damage is deemed due to improper packing by the sender, the sender will be responsible for any associated costs. You may choose to settle a shipping claim before further processing for repair, replacement, or refund. If you are unresponsive or unwilling to cover costs within two weeks of receipt, the item will be returned as-is, and the RMA will be closed.
Packing Instructions
Cyberix advises packing the computer in its original box with original materials when possible. If unavailable, follow these guidelines to ensure safe transport:
- Disconnect Accessories: Remove all computer cables, accessories, and peripherals (such as monitors, keyboards, and mice). Do not include these items unless they are also defective and part of the return.
- Heavy Graphics Cards: Remove any heavy graphics cards from the slot and pack them separately to avoid connector stress. Use a sturdy cardboard box, not an envelope, for protection.
- Protective Wrapping: If the original Styrofoam or foam blocks aren’t available, wrap the computer in thick bubble wrap or sturdy foam, especially around corners. Consider taping a thick piece of cardboard over any glass panels to prevent breakage.
- Boxing the Computer: Place the wrapped computer in a sturdy cardboard box slightly larger than the computer to reduce open space. Use additional cushioning to ensure the computer fits snugly and doesn’t shift during transit.
- Packing Laptops: If returning a laptop, use the original box or equivalent, with special attention to corners and the LCD screen to avoid screen damage or cracking.
- Minimum Clearance: Use a box with 3- to 4-inches (7 to 10 cm) of space on all sides of the computer, filled with foam or bubble wrap. Avoid foam peanuts, newspaper, or similar materials that shift in the box.
- Component Packaging: Wrap each accessory or component individually to prevent damage. Use anti-static bags for sensitive parts like motherboards, RAM, or GPUs. Never ship sensitive parts like these in an envelope, as they can be damaged easily.
- Monitor and Accessories: Pack monitors and accessories similarly to computer towers, using boxes sized appropriately.
- Returns for Refund: If returning a product for a refund, ensure it is in like-new condition with all original contents, such as manuals, cables, software, and accessories. The original box should be undamaged, with no markings or notes.
- Return Form and Invoice: Include a copy of the return form or invoice, along with a description of the problem, return address, and contact phone number. This will help Cyberix identify the return if the shipping label is removed.
- Sealing the Package: Use heavy-duty 3-inch packing tape rated at 60 lbs. to seal the box. Avoid using masking tape. Apply at least three strips of pressure-sensitive tape for a secure seal.
- RMA Number: Mark the RMA number clearly on the outside of the box to expedite processing.
Shipping Options
Cyberix recommends using a shipping carrier with tracking capabilities, like UPS or FedEx. Ensure the package is insured or accept the risk of loss or damage during shipping. Cyberix does not recommend using carriers without tracking options.
